Introducing Paycheck Proof

Your Paycheck Is Too Important to Guess About.

Enter the numbers from your pay stub and your hours worked. Uploading a document is optional; automatic reading is currently limited, so be ready to type and review the figures. Paycheck Proof compares hourly base pay and overtime using the hours and rates you enter, estimates possible missing pay, and prepares a correction message with an evidence list. It does not verify taxes, benefits, tips, commissions, shift differentials, payroll deductions, or final net pay. Find related calculators and checklists in our Money Tools directory.

A payroll error rarely announces itself

One missing hour can hide inside a paycheck that looks “close enough.”

Hourly wages and overtime can be easy to miss inside a pay stub that looks close enough. Paycheck Proof focuses on those two checks. Taxes, benefits, tips, commissions, shift differentials, deductions, and unpaid time need a separate payroll review. Waiting can make the paper trail harder to find.

Paycheck Proof gives you a private place to compare what you worked with what you were paid, then puts your findings into plain language.

Simple steps

  1. Enter your paystub figures and hours. You can skip the document upload.
  2. Review the numbers before any estimate is calculated.
  3. Ask for a correction with a prepared message and evidence list.
Built for the moment you think, “This cannot be right.”

Clear numbers. Clear next steps. No awkward guesswork.

01

Check before you confront

Compare your paystub with your hours and review the inputs before calculation.

02

Build a usable paper trail

Keep the pay information, notes, and evidence list together while details are still easy to remember.

03

Say exactly what happened

Prepare a calm correction message that explains what appears to be missing and what you are asking the employer to review.

04

Keep the case private

No bank login is required, and your employer cannot see your Paycheck Proof case.

Private by design

Your pay problem is personal. Your app should act like it.

You can start a free check without creating an account. Read the app privacy policy, which names Paycheck Proof, before uploading a pay stub or entering personal details. You can skip the upload and enter the required pay figures manually; the employer-name field is optional. You can also read the MoneyBucket website privacy policy for the main site.

What Should You Do After Checking Your Pay?

Use the pay and work guides to choose a next step for missing hours, a missing deposit, or another payroll question. Keep your calculation with the records that support your question.

If the figures suggest missing pay, keep the evidence and ask payroll to review it before planning to spend the difference. Use the amount actually deposited when you build your monthly budget; this tool does not verify take-home pay.

Once essential bills are covered, choose an affordable savings amount with the emergency fund guide. A possible correction is not available savings until it has been paid.
